Vancouver
Vancouver Played a Significant Role in My Career and Approach to Design.
After earning degrees in Interior Design from BCIT and Industrial Design from Emily Carr, I spent more than 18 years living and working in Vancouver. During that time, I developed a strong appreciation for the city's diverse architecture, distinct neighbourhoods, and evolving design culture.
From character homes in Kitsilano to contemporary condos in Yaletown, Vancouver's residential landscape presents a wide range of design opportunities and challenges. Living and working in the city shaped my understanding of how thoughtful interior design can balance architectural character with modern functionality. Whether maximizing space in a compact condominium or updating an older home while preserving its original charm, every project requires an approach that responds to the property and the people living in it.
My background in construction, combined with my education in interior and industrial design, allows me to approach renovations with both creative vision and technical understanding. I consider more than how a space will look. I think about how it will be built, how materials and finishes will perform, and how the completed space will support everyday living.
Today, I continue to work with Vancouver homeowners on everything from kitchen and bathroom renovations to complete home transformations. Whether restoring the character of an older property or reimagining a downtown condominium, my approach remains consistent.
Designing with Purpose. Designing for Life.
A recent condominium renovation in Vancouver's Fairview neighbourhood demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform an existing space. By reimagining the kitchen and bathroom, the project focused on improving functionality, updating finishes, and creating a more cohesive interior suited to contemporary living.
