Interior Design for Burnaby Homes

Burnaby has always been a city I enjoy spending time in. Some of my favourite summer evenings have been spent attending concerts at Deer Lake Park, enjoying the music, natural surroundings, and sense of community.

From established family homes around Deer Lake and Burnaby Mountain to the growing high-rise communities of Brentwood and Metrotown, Burnaby offers a diverse mix of residential properties. Each presents different design opportunities, whether renovating an older home, updating a townhouse, or making better use of space in a contemporary condo.

Having completed residential renovation projects in Burnaby, I've seen how thoughtful planning can make a significant difference to both the appearance and functionality of a home.

My background in construction, combined with degrees in Interior Design and Industrial Design, allows me to approach renovations with an understanding of both the design process and the practical considerations involved in bringing a project to life.

Whether you're planning a kitchen renovation, bathroom update, or complete home transformation, I focus on creating spaces that reflect the people living in them while improving comfort, functionality, and long-term livability.

Designing with Purpose. Designing for Life.

One example of my work in Burnaby involved the renovation of a 1970s home on Burnaby Mountain, where the existing kitchen and two bathrooms were redesigned to better suit the homeowners' needs.

A significant part of the transformation involved removing a load-bearing wall and incorporating the necessary structural support to create a more open and connected living space.

The renovation also introduced updated cabinetry, quartz countertops, and carefully selected materials and fixtures, creating a home that felt more contemporary while remaining practical for everyday living.

Projects like this demonstrate why I believe successful renovations begin with understanding the existing home, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making informed decisions before construction begins.

My goal is to create interiors that not only look good when completed but continue to function well for years to come.
