South Surrey Has Always Been Home

I was born and raised in Ocean Park, long before South Surrey became one of the Lower Mainland's fastest-growing communities. Known for its quiet streets, established homes, and close-knit neighbourhoods, the area has changed considerably over the years.

My introduction to construction began at home, helping my dad build an addition to our family house. Watching that transformation firsthand sparked an early fascination with how homes are built, renovated, and adapted to the people living in them.

Growing up in South Surrey, I watched many of the neighbourhood's older homes evolve through renovations and additions. Today, some of those same properties are being transformed into modern family homes, while new custom builds continue to reshape communities such as Morgan Creek and Grandview Heights.

Having grown up here, I understand the character of Surrey's neighbourhoods, the variety of homes, and the opportunities each property presents. Whether reimagining an older home, planning a renovation, or designing the interior of a new custom home, my approach remains the same: thoughtful design that balances how a space looks, functions, and feels over time.

Designing with Purpose. Designing for Life.

A recent Surrey townhouse renovation is a good example of how thoughtful planning can transform a home without starting from scratch.

Rather than replacing everything, I focused on making the most of what was already there. The existing hardwood floors were refinished, the kitchen cabinetry was refreshed and paired with new Caesarstone quartz countertops, and two bathrooms received updated tile, lighting, and Moen fixtures.

The result was a refreshed, cohesive interior that respected the existing home while improving its appearance and everyday functionality.

It's an approach I often take with renovations: understanding what's worth keeping, identifying what needs to change, and making informed decisions that deliver lasting value.
